Hi,

When we had our bathroom done a few years ago, the builders did a great job, apart from at the points where the ceiling and walls join - this was a little rough at the edges, but we painted over it with some thick white paint and made do with it.

We're trying to sell our house now, and are looking at all these little problems with fresh eyes.

The plaster seems to rough and have a different texture in places, and there seems to be a different colour showing through. I've already put on a few layers of paint.

Can anyone recommend a particular treatment or paint that would cover this well? Obviously I'd need to paint over with white paint again to get an even finish.

I'd really rather avoid replastering the whole thing!
