I am just about to fit a new kitchen and am starting at the top with the ceiling. It has old polystyrene coving at the moment and am not sure whether to replace the coving or do away with it completely. Is kitchen coving a thing of the past or is it still widely used? Without coving is it easy to get a neat finish between walls and ceiling?

With plaster coving its easy to get a neat transition. If you have the cash put up plaster coving.
