Coving

I have freshly plastered walls and ceiling in my living room fully dried (4 months).
I have not painted yet.

We would like to put some plaster coving or cornice up.

Shall I mist coat first then put the coving up or is it best to cove onto the unsealed bare plaster?

Also what is the best adhesive to use?

Don't think it'll matter much WRT to the mist coat. Use coving adhesive, oddly enough

The main thing with fitting coving is to make sure there is a key for the adhesive to grip onto. I prefer to fit coving onto unpainted, but prepared plaster. Read some of the replies to a similar post.
