People,
Yesterday I put up a length of coving. The rest of the coving in the room was installed by the plasterer and I said I would install the last piece (due to an unfinalised cupboard design).
I used the cove adhesive the plasterer supplied which went wrong as it went off far too quick. After wto attempts, I abandoned the cove adhesive he supplied and went for some B&Q instant grab adhesive which bonded the coving to the wall like sh&t to a blanket. I have had good experiences with the B&Q instant grab adhesive so I was happy to use it.
Where the instant grab adhesive squeezed out from under the coving I removed the excess with a knife.
I woke up this morning to find that the instant grab adhesive had cracked in places where it had been used to fill the gap between the cove and the walls. I therefore intend removing any cracked instant grab adhesive.
I would like a suggestion on what material to use to fill the gap between the cove and the wall?
Cheers
Paul
