Cracked ceiling after plaster skim

Hi All
I had the ceilings skimmed last year to cover artex and since then we have a crack 1 inch away from the architrave about 3 feet long prob caused by waking in the loft, what the best way to fix please.

Dig out flexible fill and paint

do I need to make it a v shape first or just fill with flexible filler

Just fill with flexible filler.

Get a decent non shrinking one, ever build do an extremely good one

don’t dig too deep to break the tape underneath.
I use car body filler. isopon p38.
flexible and doesn’t shrink . and you can rub it back in 10 mins
