Hello, We are renovating our 1890 house and we found a cracked wall in one of our upstair bedroom. We remove a bit of loose plaster to see the bricks. There are gaps between the bricks. Should we be concerned? Could we simply replaster over and reskim or is it better removing the plaster and repairing the brick work? Any piece of advice would be greatly appreciated. Thanks. Mickael

Probably a brick-on-edge partition, stiffened by a few timber studs.
Just fill, skim and forget
