Guys,
I have recently laid some self levelling compound (mixed with granite chippings and latex). It went down ok but as it's dried I have noticed hairline cracks appearing. The maximum depth would have been around 10mm where the floor was out badly.
I'm hoping to tile over this surface. Can you advice me as to whether I have a problem on my hands?
The floor is still not level and was hoping to lay an additional amount of compound over the first batch. I'm I right in thinking that this is not possible and must build up the floor using the tile adhesive instead?
Your help would be appreciated.
