Hello, My property has an extension which is an added Dining Room with a bedroom above. The walls in the Bedroom have developed cracks running top to bottom in the corners where the extension has been added. The pictures attached show that there are two steel beams running across the pillars. One appears to be sat on Bricks/Pad. The other is just sat on block. Any advice appreciated.

It might just be normal lightweight block shrinkage and nothing to worry about.
But without more info. and maybe pics outside, you're unlikely to get any more definitive responses.

Hi , When you suggest pics outside , the property is normal to look at with nothing abnormal or unusual visually. Also the extention is historic so I am unable to provide any info on the erection of it.
