Hello

I'd like to paint some internal wooden doors to restore the whiteness of the current paintwork.

The doors each have some cracks in them like in the pictures attached.

What would the best approach be?

I have decorators caulk and a polyfilla equivalent but can also fairly easily get to a DIY shop for wood filler or something else. I am thinking that the position of the cracks, right in the edges as depicted, might make filling difficult? I could just sand and paint and forget filling! Thanks for any advice...

Decorators caulk is less likely to crack than any filler.

You'll have to fill the gaps, those gaps will be very unsightly if not, and paint will not fill them.
