Cracks in mortar

Are the cracks in the mortar in pic anything to worry about? I can see that areas have been repointed.

Property i am looking at potentially buying.

Unconfirmed but i understand potentially built on sandstone.

Nothing to worry about. Mortar strength should always be made weaker than the material it separates/bonds (mortar does both, it keeps bricks/blocks 10mm apart and bonds them together at the same time too).

Any repointing, the mortar MUST be raked back 25mm/1 inch before applying new mortar.
