I wasn’t worried about these cracks but over the 18 months they have grown. Should I be worried. The house is a convert semi detached bungalow which was converted in 2002.

Any signs of cracks or movement externally?

Those pics look like plaster shrinkage to me, may as a result of thermal expansion contraction.

Plaster joints between walls and ceiling are prone to a bit of movement.
Walls are prob blockwork, ceiling is plasterboard on timber joists

Last years was pretty hot for aclong period.

Hi Nothing externally. As far as I can see as the cracks would mirror the roof line in the ridge.

during the conversion were double rafters used to trim all roof openings?
was the previous ceiling boards and joists?
what is the square post supporting - any more similar posts?
was a new, heavy roof tile installed during the conversion?

its probably nothing but, as above, shrinkage etc except that you've had structural changes.
