New to this so hope this post is OK ...
We've been in our house (early 1900 large-ish bungalow with loft conversion) for a couple of years.
The downstairs ceilings have developed sets of straight cracks which seem to follow the plasterboard joins. We're gradually getting these over-boarded and skimmed to fix.
I'm more worried about some cracks that have appeared over doors, and between the walls and ceilings. The worst is a downstairs bedroom where we have a 1mm crack on both sides of the wall running at a slight diagonal angle from vertical from the doorway corner.
Should we be worried or is it normal for a house of this age to continue to settle? Thanks in advance!
