I watched a film called Apostle on Netflix last night and when it finished me and my missus looked at each other both thinking WTF was that all about??

Has anyone seen it or watched another film that’s left you wondering ‘what the **** was that all about?’

I actually 'watched' it yesterday, too. The first hour was ok but the way it changed, with the weird blood-feeding of the demonic/godlike woman, made me lose interest, so I just left it on while I was piddling around the house. No idea what happened at the end, but it sounds like I didn't miss much!

The best part for me was listening to the Welsh accents in it. Ah, twas almost like being home!

He kills the goddess and she seems to appreciate it, then he gets stabbed, makes it to the coast, dies, then the grass grows into his face. I think he might have taken the place of the goddess but can’t be sure.

Maybe it is my age, but when I was young the films were worth watching. ( no films on TV which was BBC in black and white )
