I seem to have a folder of the above on my desktop which will not allow me to delete!

Each time I try it comes up as "access denied". I don't seem to have it in my list of installed programmes so can any one help please?

It is a f***in' nusance as it comes ready to be installed with some free software programs.
When ever you download a free program, ALWAYS select Custom install so that you can read each page before clicking OK. That way you can untick things like the Crawler toolbar, Yahoo Toolbar, eBay buttons and lots of others.

To remove it:

I have seen that one Dave but unfortunately I don't seem to have the toolbar on my browser to remove it.

It is thr folder on my desktop that won't budge!

I will see if it is on IE as I have 2 browsers installed.

Couple of options.

Start in Safe Mode (tapping the F8 key on statup) use the up down arrows and select Safe Mode, then hit the Enter key.
When it starts, right click the folder and click Delete.
Shut down and restart in normal mode.
Run Ccleaner registry and cleaner afterwards.

Or download Unlocker and follow the simple instructions on the site.
Once you have unlocked it, right click the icon and select Delete.

It was just only an icon or any malware? Better do a full system scan on your computer to make sure it is not infected.
