I am looking for an alternative to between the joists insulation.
I have found many websites recommending foil roll insulation. This is stapled under the wooden joists so it is much easier and faster to install in a tight crawling space.
I have found several proposed solutions:
The easiest and cheaper is to use bubble wrap with aluminium foil:
A more expensive a bit more difficult to install, but with higher insulation value:
Finally, one that is a breathable membrane . It seems better to me to avoid contestation but proposed for roof insulation so I am not so sure:
