crayon removal

Hi, I just removed candle wax that spattered on a painted wall when I blew out a candle. (I didn't notice it until the next day). I carefully scraped off what I could and then I used a hair dryer to heat and melt the wax, wiping it off with a damp sponge. It took all of it off. I think this might work as well for crayon.
