2 . The breast in front room is linked to a chimney. Is it ok for me to create a opening? What to I need to do following this to test it. Do I light a match and see something and then clean chimney? Then cap it off?? Given I want a gas fire?

3. On the rear reception chimney breast I want a mounts FTB with the chimney breast opening being shelves for AV equipment. Is this easily done? And tips?
