yep they are comfy. I only really wear them in the garden or to put the bin out etc.

I keep the straps out of the way. Some of the ugliest shoes ever made on this earth and available in every colour (notice the spelling-I'm trying to fit in). I have to admit though, I only wore them whilst (trying too hard?) tending to the garden and then they became the bestest (backslide) most comfortable slip on shoe there is. Still ugly.
Oh! and you can build quite a bit of static shuffling across the carpet in winter--be forewarned
