Hi

I purchased a large tub (9l) of Cuprinol Ducksback to paint my fence. I have used approx half the tub but have now bought a Cuprinol cordless sprayer (half price in my local B&Q). On the back of the Ducksback it says "not suitable for spraying". Is this due to the consistency? Is sprayable fencecare just thinner? Could I add water to the ducksback to use in the sprayer?

Thanks

I think these garden fence sprayers are a terrible idea.

A spray gun will always produce drift, which you will be breathing in and it will also settle in places you don't want it to settle - like your car.

Also, unless you have very carefully cleaned all the crap (birds muck, moss, lichen) off of the fence first, the treatment will not last very long.

Better off using a stiff paint brush that cleans as you paint - if you get my drift.
