I have a front door set inside of an arched opening, this was the external wall/entrance to a porch so has never been plastered.

I am wanting to D&D boards in this area which I am pretty comfortable with, the only issue is the reveal which has a curved profile to the top.

I was going to cut the strip of board to the right width then build a small frame the same profile as the door archway and try to bend the board over it by wetting the board slightly and leaving it to sag until it's the correct radius, possibly scoring the back.

Do you think this will work or have you any better ideas.

Worst case scenario it fails badly and I just use browning\skim using the front boarded edge as a guide.
