Hi all,

I’ve purchased a new American style fridge freezer for my mum. It has a long thin plastic water pipe to service the chilled water and ice functions. Is it advisable to cut the length of the tubing, it is really long, as the cold water copper pipe and connector to it are very near the back of the appliance?

She does not use the water and ice function now but I replaced like with like due to the space the old appliance occupied in the kitchen.

Thanks in advance.

Hi opps,

I have done similar using cable clips tapped into the wall. The tubing snakes up and down on the wall behind the appliance.

I’m happy to leave it as it is of there’s no need to shorten it.

Thanks again
