Cutting in........what is the best tool for the job???

Hi,

We are at the stage of the refurbishment where we are now painting, we have tries using masking tape to mask off the area that are not to be covered. However on doing so the masking tape seems to remove the paint on the surface it has been placed upon or it creates a ridge between the two surfaces.

Does anyone know of a better method of cutting in without using masking tape and how effective are these methods.

Steady hand using a good synthetic brush.

Cutting in is all about practice, and I know this may sound daunting yet the larger the brush the easier it is, a 3 to 4" brush is ideal. Just be sure that you feather out your paint prior to using a roller.
