cvt file extensions...philips 1080i dvdr5500 recorder

hi guys, ive uploaded some updates from phillips for the 1080i dvd recorder, however they are bin files and some cvt files which vista does not want to open, i wish to burn the files in the same format in order to update the dvds recorders software via disk.
machine fails to intitialise due to software error hence need to reinstall software updates.

You need to extract the files from the downloaded zip and burn them to a CD. Then insert the finalised CD into your DVD
