cwsc warm (similar post already out there)

basically the cwsc is overflowing and full of warm water. warm water is apparantley being felt entering tank via the CF outlet. only one CF

water is not dirty nor has the heating header been heard/seen filling which puts doubt in my mind that its not the coil gone.

the header tank is about 2ft higher though

Back flow from a mixer valve, shower, washing machine or taps.

Check all the fittings that have an cold mains supply.

If it is the washing machine you would expect the machine to fill with water unexpectedly. You will need a new solenoid, easy job to do but call a domestic appliance repair person if you don't feel competent, or just turn off the washing machine tap, or cap off the offending input with 3/4" female iron cap and some ptfe on the thread.
