Well that's completely subjective is it not!! 19 million people in the 80's will say I am wrong. But I can watch anything morcambe & wise without even cracking an inkling of a smile.

thats because there was only 3 channels and they were the so called best of all the other 5hit that was on.no 4 came a bit later down my way,iirc the 1st film they showed was 'scum'?.

Dave allen... now he was a class act. Very funny M&W not so. 2 ronnie's excellent, David jason (everything he's done and a local lad!!) Porridge. .. all classic stuff, just not Morcambe and wise.
