My Daewoo fridge freezer, has a cracked in the fridge section at the back.
The appliance is 2 years old & I have only just noticed it, so it could be 6mths old.
I have contact Currys & awaiting there response. Just wondering what the consumer legal side is, obviously a fridge/freezer should last longer than 2 years,
Anyone had similar experiences.

Liner split classed as insulation failed. It will ice up in fridge and will freeze every thing. Consumer law is your next step, I've seen loads of these , new fridge freezer needed.

Rocks, thanks for that, I was hoping someone would point me to te relevant consumer law, or even examples. Still waiting for Currys, looked on Daewoo web site, the product has a 2 year guarantee but it now 2yrs 3mths old.

Sales of goods act 1979. Fit for purpose. Google it loads of examples and help. keep on at them till they budge.

Its taken a while but
GOOD NEWS
The manufacture had offered me a replacement for £130.
My credit card company have just called me, I explained I was happy to pay a third of the £130 & get the remainder from Currys/Barclaycard.

They have given me £130 so replacement now on order.
