Damaged alarm cable

I have managed to damage the alarm cable in my garage,
Question, will I have to replace cable back to system board, or can I just slice new sction onto damaged section.
Alternatively is there some kind of connection block which I can use.
Existing cable is underground and about 50ft away.

Just splice a new bit in colour to colour. Disconnect any power (12v) first or you'll blow a fuse.
