Damp behind kitchen units, will another plinth vent help?

I dont see that....heavy downpour would push it along the wall. Also depends on how much, and in what direction the fall is.

That’s why I said crude set up and why there is damp.I can’t help your lack of vision.

Thanks, so is the answer to grind out a channel in the concrete and stones?

Also I found that the walls are tiled down to the floor in places behind the cabinets, I guess that is not going to help it breathe?

The exterior ground level seems to have been raised. IMO you should start digging beside the house to lower the level and expose whatever drains used to exist. If necessary you will need to repair them or add new.

What's that block in front of the downpipe?

If you scrabble around a bit more you will see the old drains.

The foot of the wall looks very damp.

The block is actually just behind the pipe, under next doors paving.

I scrabbled around but couldn't find it.
