Moved to new property in 2020, it has wooden garage structure joined to side of house, which needs taking down and rebuilding. Floor of structure is block paving and floor also has main drain access. Get very very damp during winter, need quick fix for this winter to reduce amount damp, would laying damp proof sheet direct on to block paving help? Worried damp would be directed toward house wall,

Any damp on the garage floor level should be well below the house dpc so shouldn’t be an issue
