Damp patch at bottom corner of bedroom wall

I have a damp patch on the corner of my bedroom wall on the party wall side only I notice my neighbours window sill is cracked and also has a hair crack in his render the damp patch is about a foot away from my neighbours defects. Are these defects likely to be the course of the damp?
I have taken a picture from outside and circled the defects. my house is the white one.
