Damp Patch on Parapet Wall

Closing the cavity and a C.T is important but also making sure the mortar bed and point is not bridging the drip is just as important. I was driving down the road the other day and took the attached photo of a newly rendered wall with copings on, you can clearly see the bridging of the drip detail
Recently I corrected this problem on a parapet wall this video
shows me removing the cement that bridges the drip detail
