I am a total novice when it comes to this sort of stuff but I want to make sure their isnt something drastically wrong with my damp proof and sub floor vents

The flags are all finished just under the air vents. At the back we have a large opening with windows and french doors so their is only room for a single brick vent underneath and then it's the flags

At the front I have pictures. It's a double brick vent then it looks like a chemical damp proof has been put in. The flags are up to the air bricks. The cement between the flags and brick is sloping away from the house. Is this anything to seriously worry about? Their is a musty smell under the floorboards so I was planning on adding more ventilation at the back. I will upload pictures of the back later

That's a closeup pic of the front. There are two vents on the front. One on the side and one at the back of the house

Is there no original DPC?

Like slate?

Position of air bricks doesn't tell us much about the damp arrangement.

I think theirs a layer just above the air bricks. It's been repointed but you could see like a black layer behind the cement at that level
