Hi all,
found a damp spot in our spare room 2 days before the plasterer was to arrive typically..
However, bit of a issue with it if any of you can shed some light? The spot (when the wallpaper was on) was damp to touch. However when we removed the paper the spot on the actual plaster is bone dry.. Is this normal or has someone split a drink (would of been at least 4 weeks ago so doubting that theory..)
On the outside picture you can see our neighbours house (with their lovely kept roof) is in a sorry state. However where their downspout is, not near where the damp is i.e. at least a metre away.
Also above we noticed one of the dry verge tiles has come away, could this be the cause of the random damp spot so low down?
Thanks in advance
