We have just brought our first flat but are having alot of problems with the supporting outside walls of the property. The flat is made of concrete, which we have heard is prone to dampness, but we were told when we brought it it had been damp checked?
The problem is we have mould growing on the interior walls, this is only appearing on the walls that support the property, the outside walls, in the summer we did not have a problem. Our management company have told us this is condensation and we should move furniture away from the walls and leave windows open, whicch we have done, but still to no avail.
In one of the rooms, which we decorated mould appeared on the pine shelfs and the interior to supporting walls, also the paint bubles up for no apparent reason. We are finding this a problem in most of the rooms. and really would like some advice on how to sort it.
