I am having trouble programming my unit. I had the same problem last winter but decided to just live with it - more of an irritation rather than a crisis, but this year my wifes shift patterns are all different, and I need to make sure the bathroom is warm when she wakes up at stupid O'Clock....

The unit thinks today is Tuesday, but it is actually Sunday.

I have tried to reset by pressing the reset button with a cocktail stick.

The instructions say to press until I hear a click and the two red lights flash. I get a click right away, and the lights come on, but even if I hold the reset button in for 30 seconds, the lights do not go off (do lights coming on constitute a flash? I would have said on nd off...). When I release the button it is still Tuesday! - the display somtimes shows n01 briefly at this point.

I have tried following the instructions to set the time and day - time is no problem, but npthing happens when I press the Day button in this mode (there is no Day display).

If I press the Day button from the normal running mode I get the following displayed (I have no idea what these might mean). First Press 2081, Second Press 9:09 (the 09 flashes), Third Press 9:09 (the 9 flashes).

Any suggestions would be most helpful.

Thanks
