Dead Zanussi Nexus washing machine

Hi. My Zanussi nexus fl 884 w/m has power to it but when i programe a wash and pull the knob it is dead (the power light is still on). I have checked for blockages in the waste filter and pipes to no avail. Advice please. Thanks.

you will most likely find that its a faulty door interlock, located behind the door rubber and is held in by two screws

cheap and easy to replace but be careful and make sure you remove the mains plug before you change it.
