Hi
So our garden slopes away upwards from the house and directly behind us is the bottom of a coach house, i.e. a brick wall.
I want to build some 3x3m decking at the back of the garden.
I realise I need to leave a 10mm gap between the edge of the decking and the coach house wall as it’s above the damp proof course.
My plan is to work out the gradient of the slope, build the frame of the decking first, then dig the post holes, lay the frame into the holes etc then use postcrete.
Does this sound ok, like building the frame first and sitting it into the holes as a single unit to save having to do it post per post? I think it will be easier this way.
Cheers
