Id like some help on framework spec for a deck I'm about to build.
The deck is going to sit on some horrible, uneven ground on top of some gabion baskets. The area is L shaped - 3.5m x 2m, with a walkway that's 1.5 x 4m leading to it. The whole area is to be decked.
Does the deck need to be attached to the ground, or will its own weight keep it in place?
What size joists would be sufficient?
Any help at all would be really appreciated.
