Whats the best stuff to paint decking with. I used Ronseal in the past but it flakes off in time and its slippy now.

Nope it was the one that comes with a brush on a stick.
Does exactly what it says on the tin.........Dont remember it saying anywhere on the tin that it will all flake off.

Should I powerwash it all off and oil it up?
I don't know if powerwash will get it off unless it's very loose, the oil need to get into the wood so chemical stripping is one way with a wire brush or sand it off dry, might be best to ring the manufacter from the tin because some products don't bind with difference products. Try reposting this in Decorating/Painting/Tiling section.
