I am just about to pain the whole house. I painted it almond white a few years ago with a delux paint.

I will be painting with exact same almond white colour so was wondering if the one coat will truly same me a lot of time or it's just a marketing BS. I know its more expensive but I could do with saving time & energy.

Thanks

I am thinking 2 coats as well, thanks. Is there Endurance paint worth it?. Its £4 more expensive per 5L can

Which mask should I be using for painting? Last time I had the opportunity to have all windows and doors open and it was hot summer

No need for mask.
You could go for the easycare paint which is washable when finished. Only thing is, is it is a bit see through. I had to give it 3 coats but as I do it all the time the 3rd coat took me about 45 minutes for the whole room.
If it's the same colour then two coats would be fine. I stay clear of one coat paints.

I have used Dulux once several times with very good results. The emulsion is thicker and one coat was enough.

It's packed full of thixotropic stuff I think. It's so diy folks can get a good thick coat on covering in one but that can come with problems, but for some they just want to believe its the answer to quick and easy painting job. It's like one coat gloss which also has its problems but people still buy it and lash on with no prep or cleaning and don't know any different I guess.

Second coat is always required in my experience for a good finish, no matter what paint you use.
Besides, a second coat takes no time to be done.
The hard part is the preparation, so...

Almost done. 2 Coats with Dulux Easycare. Skirts stand out dirty due to the new wall paint. I it's ok to just wipe down the skirts and just paint?. I don't have the knees and back to start sanding down wood!

Yes. It will look much better with a coat of paint. Would you have time to put some acrylic primer on first? You'd probably be fine without it but it will help the top coat bond!

I was hoping to rush through it in under 2 hours but likely I won't do a good job in that time so may settle for one room at a time over a few days.
