Descaling heat exchanger

Hi,

I want to descale a DHW plate heat exchanger. Can someone tell me what liquid to use to clean it with? Where can I buy the liquid?

i use a washing up bowl make enough up to immerse it in

empty the h/x every hour or so then put it back

if its well scaled it may take a while :wink:
