Diamond core bit sets

Does anyone have any recommendations for these, been looking on Ebay at these type of sets

Any advice on sets to give a wide birth or sets worth the money

Not used any core drills but the Marcrist angle grinder discs leave all the others standing.

Another vote for Marcist. Mine get plenty of abuse, that cheaper cutters don't stand up to.

This kit is supplied to all manufactures under license, they can all name it under their own brand name.

That is why every single brander has these for sale.

The kit is budget to medium diy use, very slow going in facing brick though, a decent 117 core being at least 5 times faster on the same drill.

I'm surprised a name I have always trusted like Bosch would be buying in and branding up this sort of stuff. Makes you think......!

It is ok gear though, you get what you pay for no question and they are made in Japan, not China

Tool branding, rather than actually making the tools, is big business, like..

They trade the product on their reputation.

Sad for us buyers, means making a purchase for quality, much more difficult, none can be trusted.
