so whats so special about the drill designed for use with diamond cutters that they cost 2-3 times as much as a similar spec (brand, wattage, speeds etc)?
I've used a normal SDS multifunction with clutch quite successfully in the past, seems no different from the special diamond drills I've used, also watched someone try to use a 6" cutter with non-clutch 750w D-handle makita, which was pretty funny.
I don't like not using the "right" tool, but my very occasional usage makes it prohibitive.
