didnt scratch the bonding

hey guys doing a bit of patching at home and had to put bonding on the other day, anyway i completely forgot to scratch it and now have to put the finish on. if i pva it will it still be ok or can i scratch it now its dry, thanks very much

Score it now it is dry, Ideally you should not let the base coat go completely dry prior to applying finishing coat.
if its only a day old it will score easy enough, I would then, remove any bits from the area and slightly dampen to reduce suction, no need to PVA but it wont hurt if done correctly.
