Im putting a retaining wall in the back garden but the garden has alot of chalky rock about 6" under the soil and i need to remove alot of it. My pick just bounces off it!

What would i be best hiring to dig it out? I also need to put fence posts down into it?!

kango with a clay spade will go through it fairly easily. as will a sharp shovel.

just to check...

you aren't digging out chalk so you can fill the trench with concrete, are you?
