Hi
I have a digistat RF2 (about 7 years old?). Around 2 (?) years ago they sent me replacement drawers which I installed and have worked well.
Over the last few months I have experienced intermittant 'fade out' of the screen and associated loss of signal. No battery warning symbal has ever appeared.
I find that squeezing the unit tightly (front and rear) brings back the signal. Usually this is temporary (a few minutes), but repeating the squeeze several times brings the unit back to full working condition. I then need to re-set time and temperatures.
Has my digistat simply neared the end of its life? Is there a poor connection inside? Is it a battery problem?
Thanks for any advice/suggestions.
