Any help gratefully received!
My old Drayton Digistat RF2 gave up the ghost a few week back (boiler would only stay on for about 30 seconds before the receiver unit turned it off even on override setting).
I decided to go the wired route so bought a Digistat +3. Unfortunately I bought the battery version by accident. Now whilst this isn't a big problem operationally, I am having problems understanding how to wire it into a Worcester Bosch 24CDi with the existing wiring (3 core).
I've already blown the 2 amp fuse in the boiler once so have since reverted back to a simple Honeywell thermostat for the time being.
The wiring diagram for the digistat suggests that common is connected to '1' in the boiler and 'ON' is connected to '2' in the boiler. The boiler only has neutral, live, switched live and 'spare'
I'm worried about putting 240v through a battery powered thermostat. Can anyone help me out? Thanks.
