Hi All
I have changed dimmer switch to a 1 gang switch but I think its an intermediate , I have connected to L1 and L3 which turns it on and off but the light is off when the switch is pressed down and we want it to turn on when pressed down. can I just reverse the wiring or get another switch
Thanks

turn the switch round

without see the connections I'm not sure , other may have an answer

But i would simply turn the switch round 180 degrees so that OFF is up rather than down , should be straight forward
Unscrew - turn through 180 degrees and rescrew

thought about that but its got a logo etched into the corner which I didn't know about , thanks

post a picture of the connections , if intermediate , then you may be able to swap the connections round
usually i have seen 2x L1 and 2xL2 , but i only ever fitted 2

do you have a multimeter?

will send photos but it has L1 L2 L3 and L4 on the switches

Try the L3 wire in L2 and L4 to see if that solves the problem.
If not then put it back to L3 and do the same with the one thats currently in L1
You will not trip any mcb's or blow any fuses.
