Hi,
I've been looking for ages for suitable cabinet lights and found some in Ikea - a set of three LV stainless steel units complete with electronic transformer, for £10. Now I've read enough on these fora to know that the professionals here tend to frown on the idea of several lamps from one transformer, and indeed the cheap transformers that are supplied with these kits. What I want to know is, I need to be able to connect up seven of these lamps, all from a 250W dimmer switch. Will the supplied transformer support being dimmed do you think, am I best off buying a dimmable transformer from Toolstation/Screwfix and lastly, should I really go to the trouble of specifying one transformer per lamp unit?
Thanks
