I have an integrated diplomat ADP8332 dishwasher which is refusing to run the cycle, beeping and showing S7 fault. The company said this was a flow meter fault and it would cost between £70-90 for an engineer to fix it.

My questions are;
where abouts is flow meter located in dishwasher
roughly how much it costs
and could it be easily replaced by moi..... :D

or is it just better to let the engineer do it!..

thanks

The flowmeter is the water management system. Take the left hand panel off and you'll see the tiny circuit board at the bottom of it. Pull off the plug, clean the connectors and plug it back on. Try the machine again.
If you're still getting the error, remove the filter and sieve, check the black grid in the bowl isn't gunged up. Clean it very carefully as you can easily puncture the membrane rendering the pressure switch useless.
